How To Order Prescription Medications
All items in this section require a prescription from your veterinarian. Choose one of our easy options below.
1. Mail an original, written prescription to Mak'n Tracks, 301 E South St, Tremont, IL 61568 when placing your order. Please call 888-625-6879 to let us know you are mailing the prescription or e-mail us via the 'Contact Us' link. Be sure to include your order number.
2. Print our fax prescription ordering form and take it to your veterinarian for authorization. Have your veterinarian fax the completed form and prescription to 309-925-2452 or you may mail the form and original prescription to the address above. By law, we cannot accept faxed prescriptions unless faxed from a licensed veterinarian.
3. Call us at 888-625-6879 to give us your veterinarian's contact information and your pet's information and our pharmacist will contact your veterinarian for authorization.
Please be aware that prescription drug orders may take up to 2 weeks to arrive. Delivery time is dependent on if and when your veterinarian approves your prescription request. You will usually receive your order sooner if you mail us a prescription rather than have us fax a request to your veterinarian.

Deramaxx
Used in over a million dogs in the past two years, Deramaxx® controls inflammation and pain. It is used for osteoarthritis, as well as for control of post-operative pain associated with certain orthopedic surgeries.

Deramaxx is effective for a full 24 hours - so you only dose once daily. Deramaxx is a non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or NSAID. These types of drugs inhibit the cells production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals made by cells that perform specific functions, such as triggering inflammation. This medication comes as a beefy tablet that dogs love.

Arthritis cannot be cured, but the combination of a healthy lifestyle, weight control, joint care supplements, and the appropriate NSAID can help your dog have the quality of life he deserves. Different NSAIDs work differently on different dogs, so if you think your dog is suffering from the pain of arthritis, discuss the use of a NSAID, such as Deramaxx, with your veterinarian. Do not use with other NSAIDs, such as aspirin, or with corticosteroids.
